Carl with AMTRAK shows off a table in the viewing car that was set up for National Train Day. AMTRAK Train 112 came to town for National Train Day. People could hop aboard and tour the cars attached to the train. Carl told us, " There were around a hundred people per hour that came to take a tour." The train can take you from Little Rock Union Station to just about anywhere in the United States. The train has several rooms to choose from that allow you to sleep and rest up for the next day.
AMTRAK started in May 1, 1971, according to the official website.
